Let’s try a mind exercise. Let’s imagine that there was a omniscient omnipresent being. Let’s call this being God. That would mean he is everywhere and present everywhere at all times. No small feat. Especially in such a big universe.
Light travels so fast in one second it can circumnavigate the earth seven times in one second. Our solar system is composed of nine planets circling a star we call the sun. It takes light generated from the sun 2 years to get to the mid point between itself and the next closest star. When you look out at the night sky the majority of those stars have planets circling them. With the naked eye you really can’t see other galaxies and so everything in the night you are looking upon is within our own galaxy the Milky Way. It has been calculated that there are 100 billion stars in the Milky Way. It has been estimated that there are 100 billion galaxies in the known Universe. They have no idea where or if there ever was a Big Bang since they have no idea where or if there is an edge to the Universe. It's just ridiculously big.
Yet Christians figured out 2000+ years ago, before the scientific process was created, before the telescope was created, when they wrote the Bible that there was a being whom made everything in the Universe (remember it is really big) and this superior being is everywhere ( takes light 100,000 years to travel across the our galaxy. And 25,000 light years to get to the next closest galaxy from the out edge of our galaxy.
To think that there might be a 'God' who could give a shit about us when there are black holes gobbling up distant solar systems and other alien races is simply retardedly human centric and nave.
